THE university of Oklahoma COMMUNITY HEALTH ALLIANCE PRESENTS

Bridges to Access

We are excited to announce that registration for OUCHA’s annual Bridges to Access conference is open! B2A - Healthcare and Immigration will take place on Saturday, February 15th, 2025. We would love for you to join us in learning about the unique social, cultural, and political challenges that immigrants must overcome in accessing equitable healthcare in Oklahoma and beyond.

On January 18th, 9AM-1PM, the Bridges to Access team will partner with Unity Clinic, Lynn Institute, and Stephenson Cancer Center to host a community outreach event. This event will advocate for the health and well-being of our community by providing health screenings and resources for those families.

What is Bridges to Access?

Bridges to Access (B2A) is an annual, entirely student-led conference for health students across Oklahoma dedicated to fostering meaningful conversation and identifying vital solutions to the most pressing issues of healthcare.

We are an initiative of the OU Community Health Alliance, whose primary purpose is to serve the uninsured and underinsured populations of Oklahoma City and Tulsa and to foster a life-long passion for community service.

Our Mission

Our annual flagship conference serves as a forum for over 300 attendees and speakers alike to exchange ideas and resources to tackle the healthcare issues of our time and to gain inspiration for ideas and projects they can implement in their personal and professional lives.

This year’s theme, Healthcare and Immigration, tackles the unique social, cultural, and political challenges that immigrants must overcome in accessing equitable healthcare in Oklahoma and beyond.
